COMMUNITY FIRST.
FUTURE FORWARD.
Together, we can build a stronger, safer Santa Clarita for everyone.
Dr. Kelvin DriscolL’S PRIORITIES
We’re raising our family in Santa Clarita because of its safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and quality of life.
But too many families in our community are facing challenges today. The cost of living continues to rise. Traffic impacts commutes and time at home. Growth isn’t being managed responsibly, and city government isn’t focused on the issues that actually affect daily life.
We need leadership that is practical, collaborative, and focused on results so that we can build a stronger, safer Santa Clarita for everyone.
Our city works best when we work together. District 5 includes residents from many different backgrounds and perspectives, but most of us want the same basic things: safe neighborhoods, responsive government, and a strong future for our families. As your City Councilmember, I promise to listen to you, work across differences, and focus on practical solutions instead of political division.
“I love that Santa Clarita is a safe place to live, and I want to keep it that way. I don’t want us to wait until there’s a problem before we act. I want the City to stay focused on keeping our neighborhoods safe and being prepared for whatever comes our way.”
“Traffic is getting more frustrating. I know we can’t eliminate it, but I want the City to keep improving our roads, intersections, and connections so it’s easier and safer to get where I need to go.”
“I love living in the 5th district. I just wish there were more places where my family could grab dinner, listen to live music, meet up with friends, or spend a Saturday afternoon without having to leave our neighborhood.”
“I don’t expect my councilmember to have every answer, but I do expect them to listen, be visible in the community, and be someone I can actually reach when something matters. I want a councilmember who’s present year-round—not just during campaign season—and stays connected to the people they represent.”
“I know our city is growing, and I don’t expect that to stop. I just want growth to be planned the right way. As new homes and businesses are built, I want the roads, parks, and other services to keep up, and I want growth to make our community better—not more crowded or harder to enjoy.”
“I love our neighborhood, but sometimes it feels like we’re overlooked. I’d like to see more investment here so our families have the same opportunities, amenities, and services as every other part of Santa Clarita. When District 5 succeeds, the whole city succeeds.”
